About St Helena's Church
Thought from Scripture
"Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good
deeds and
praise your Father in Heaven."
Matthew 5:16
The morning service is at 9.30am which is normally Holy Communion. All baptised Christians who usually receive Communion in their own churches are welcome to receive with us too. Others are invited to come forward for a blessing.
Until we have a regular chaplain, there will be no evening service.
Many of the congregation are retired British people, but we have a growing number of other nationalities amongst our members, too.
Contact us if you are interested in knowing more about St Helena's, or if you have any questions about our church.
Chaplain
We
are currently in an interregnum, and have no registered minister, but
the
Wardens or other members of Council will be happy to answer any
queries.
The church office, is situated in Flat 201 St Helena’s court (next to the church) and is normally open Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 10-12 noon. Tel: 24 626824
What we believe
At St Helena's, we follow the statement made
in the Chicago-Lambeth
quadrilateral including the following: we believe that the
Bible is the revealed word of God, and that the Nicene
Creed is
a sufficient statement of faith.
